Navigating the Draw Tab

Play Library and Play Preview Sections

When you have the Draw tab selected, there are two windows shown. The Play Library window, on the left side, is a sortable list of all of the Plays you have created. By clicking on a play, the Play Preview will open on the right. You can adjust the number of frames per row (between 1 and 3) on the preview or edit your play by selecting the appropriate button above the preview. You can also create a new play from this view.

Using Play Filters in the Play Library Window

When you have the Draw tab open in FastDraw, your Play Library window will be displayed on the left side of the screen. This is where your plays are listed and organized with labels for Season, Team, Series, Tags, and Play Name. Underneath each column header for Season, Team, and Series, there is a dropdown menu that can be used to filter your play library and view only plays that meet your set criteria. To view every play that is currently in your play library, the Season, Team, and Series filters will all need to be set to <All> and the Tags and Play search will need to be blank, displaying “All Tags” and “All Plays”, respectively.

Using the dropdown menu, you can isolate plays by Season, Team, Series, or a combination of the three. In the example below, the Series filter is used to display only plays with a Series label of Breakouts.

You can further filter plays by changing the Team label. In the example below, setting the Team to Buffalo stop displaying all other plays, except for those labeled as Buffalo.

By switching the Series filter back to <All Series>, the play library window now displays all plays labeled as Buffalo, regardless of the Series.

Once again, switching each filter menu to <All> will display every play in your library.
